Saturday 28th May 2016 saw the conclusion of the Chelsea Flower Show, the most important “garden and floreal design” event in the United Kingdom which, since 1913, has been held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, where Flora Toscana gained the Silver Gilt Medal. At its first participation, Flora Toscana has presented a collection of species belonging to the Proteaceae family with varities of leucadendron, Leucospermum, Protea and Chamelaucium cultivated in Tuscany by the company’s members.
Flora Toscana is a cooperative of producers specialised in cut flowers and pot plants, which operates in the sector since 1979 and it has since become the most direct link with the production. Thanks to the acquired experience and a young and well-prepared staff, Flora Toscana is capable in offering a high quality assortment that includes bouquet, the result of the creativity of the company’s graphic artisans, to the most particular essences, elevating particularly the Italian production. Particular care is given to the distribution through a transparent collaboration between the producers and the suppliers, which marks Flora Toscana as a true leader in the sector specialised in the Italian large-scale retail trade.
